From Network Functions to NetApps: The 5GASP Methodology

As the 5G ecosystem continues its consolidation, testing and validation of innovations achieved by integrators verticals service providers is preponderant importance. In this line, 5GASP a European H2020-funded project that aims at easing idea-to-market process through creation an testbed fully automated self-service, in order to foster rapid development new innovative Network Applications (NetApps). The main objective paper present 5GASP's unified methodology design, develop onboard NetApps within scope different vertical services, letting them use specific facilities. Besides, we examine whole tutorial fashion adopting case focusing on integration virtual On-Board Unit (vOBU) permits offloading processing from attached vehicle serving data-access requests. demonstrated, presented workflow agile, rigorous, safe development, certification NetApps, which will enable valuable in-network services for beyond infrastructures.
